Gold Coast Photo Diary

October 26, 2017

Somehow Queensland always decides to have its few days a year of raining every time I arrive. It has been no different this time. However, after hiding from the rain doing impromptu photoshoots and coffee shop and restaurant hopping in Byron Bay the sun finally came out!

As the rain pours down over Currumbin beach we had puppy cuddle fest and photoshoot at Lush Designs which is the headquarters for one of my favourite Aussie summer labels, Palm Collective. Also I left with way too many Moroccan straw bags and linen dresses that my 'cabin only' luggage could handle. Seriously though, how cute is their interior and little shop assistant/Dachshound Lulu? It would be a crime not to shoot!

About 1.5 hour drive from Mermaid is the amazing O'Reillys Rainforest and we totally touristed our way through the tree top walk and climbed up 30 metres for a breathtaking view over Cangura Valley (and also panicked climbing down). On our way down the mountain we found the Cangura Valley O'Reilly Vineyard. I have no idea how people even make it to the wine tasting because there is a bunch of Alpacas right outside just waiting to be fed and cuddled! They are seriously the cutest animals ever!

Then off to refeed with acai bowls on Nobby's Beach! x
