Last two days in Bali and I could not think of a better place to spend them. Bisma Eight is a luxury boutique hotel completely different from what you are used to in Ubud.
First of all you are met by a photographic exhibition in the lobby. 'Raw' (runs until the 28th of February 2017) is a collection of portraits and emotions by Vanessa van Houten (check out her website here). Secondly, the design on Bisma is one of a kind with polished concrete, wooden details and sneak peaks of the jungle wherever you go. Clearly, we had no wish to leave the hotel for the day but spent it lounging by the infinity pool looking over a valley of palm trees after the morning yoga class on the roof terrace.
Coconut and banana pancake from Copper. More breakfast indulgence below:
CopperKitchen & Bar is run by award winning chef Ben McRae. McRae mixes traditional balinese food with contemporary cooking and the result is fantastic! What I loved the most is that the ingredients are from their own sustainable farm just down the road.
